College Park, Maryland (population: 24,657 in 2000) is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Incorporated in 1945, The College Park Airport (both a historic site and operating airport) is a five minute walk from a Metro station and totally up to date for FAA Regulations for small craft flights. Established in 1909, it is the oldest continuously operating airport in the world, and is known as the "Cradle of Aviation". College Park, Maryland is a 5.4 square mile area located in Northern Prince George's County, the Maryland suburb of Washington D.C.
