News: Collision involving ambulance injures three

WALDORF, MD – Emergency responders transported three people to a hospital after a vehicle struck an ambulance, ABC 7 News reports.

A car traveling on Smallwood Drive and Crain Highway struck an ambulance last night.

Emergency responders transported one passenger of the ambulance to a hospital via airlift. Two occupants of the car were also hospitalized.

All three passengers sustained minor injuries, according to police.

Details about the cause of the wreck are currently unavailable. We will continue to monitor this story as local authorities investigate.
