INDIAN HEAD, MD – A woman was hospitalized Sunday after her vehicle overturned in an accident, according to The Bay Net.
A vehicle was traveling down Chicamuxen Road when it crashed and flipped over, trapping its passenger.
The accident happened at about 8:48 p.m. Sunday, near Triangle Lane.
A woman was rescued from the vehicle by emergency personnel. She was taken to a hospital via airlift for treatment of her injuries.
Authorities shut down the area of the accident as crews worked to clear the site.
