ANNE ARUNDEL CO., MD – Two children suffered minor injuries after a single-vehicle crash in Severn Park Friday night.

According to ABC 7, the crash took place on Donaldson Avenue near Severn Park the night of April 1st.

The driver of a Honda Pilot reportedly lost control of the vehicle on Donaldson Avenue. The Honda subsequently crashed down a hill, through a fence, and into a drainage pond.

An Anne Arundel County police officer was patrolling the park and immediately responded to the accident. First responders were able to free the two children and their parents from the submerged vehicle.

The driver of the Honda has since been charged with reckless driving and driving without a license. 

The crash remains under investigation.
