PRINCE WILLIAM CO., VA – One person died after a semi-truck burst into flames on I-66 Monday morning.

According to ABC 7, the fatal accident took place on I-66 eastbound near Exit 43 for U.S. 29 around 8:45 AM on April 11th.

At this time, it is unclear what caused the vehicle fire.

Virginia State Police were at the scene of the fire and confirmed that one person died. The victim’s identity remains unknown.

The accident is currently under investigation.
