FERNDALE, MD – One person suffered critical injuries after their vehicle was rear-ended Saturday morning.
According to WMAR, the crash occurred on Baltimore Annapolis Boulevard near Oakleigh Avenue around 6:00 AM on April 16th.
A 2019 Volkswagen GTI reportedly rear-ended a 2014 Honda. The Honda subsequently exited the roadway and crashed into a telephone pole.
Both drivers were taken to R. Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center. The driver of the Honda sustained life-threatening injuries and is in critical condition.
Police state that the crash was caused by the Volkswagen driver’s failure to maintain speed.
The accident remains under investigation.
