News: Multi-vehicle crash blocks traffic on Harry Nice Memorial Bridge

NEWBURG, MD – A multi-vehicle crash involving injuries was reported on the Harry Nice Memorial Bridge Thursday morning.

According to WTOP, the crash occurred on U.S. 301 over the Governor Harry Nice Memorial Bridge around 8:00 AM on April 21st.

The crash appeared to involve at least three vehicles, including one tractor trailer. However, the cause of the accident is unclear at this time.

DC EMS responded to the scene of the crash. The number and severity of injuries remains unknown.

All lanes on the bridge were shut down in both directions as first responders cleared the scene.
