GREENBELT, MD – DC Fire and EMS responded to a multi-vehicle crash with possible injuries on I-495 Thursday morning.
According to WTOP, the crash took place on I-495 near Kenilworth Avenue around 6:00 AM on April 21st.
Two vehicles appear to have been involved in the crash. However, the cause of the accident is unclear at this time.
Similarly, the total number and severity of injuries suffered remains unknown.
The two far left lanes of I-495 were shut down as first responders worked to clear the scene.
Authorities continue to investigate the accident.
