CAPITOL HEIGHTS, MD – A motorcyclist suffered injuries after they were struck by a vehicle in a hit-and-run crash Sunday morning.

According to WDVM, the crash took place on Route 50 near Kenilworth Avenue around 10:25 AM on May 29th. 

The motorcyclist, 45-year-old Clayvon Anderson, was riding a 2017 Honda motorcycle eastbound when they were struck by a vehicle. Anderson told police the vehicle fled the scene.

Anderson was hospitalized, but their current condition is unknown.

Police continue to investigate the hit-and-run accident.
