News: 57-year-old woman struck, killed by vehicle in Chillum

CHILLUM, MD – A woman was fatally struck by an SUV on the East-West Highway in Chillum on Wednesday night.

According to the Daily Voice, 57-year-old Maria Quinteros was hit by an eastbound SUV near Riggs Road at about 9 p.m.

Quinteros was taken to a nearby hospital, where she was pronounced dead a short time later.

The SUV’s driver remained at the scene and cooperated with police.
