LANOVER, MD – A pedestrian succumbed to their injuries following a collision with a vehicle in Lanover last week Tuesday.
According to Shore News Network, the fatal accident took place in the 8000 block of Barlowe Road around 10:40 PM on July 5th.
The pedestrian was reportedly crossing the road outside of a crosswalk when they were struck by a vehicle. The driver remained at the scene.
The pedestrian, identified as 53-year-old Jackie Monroe, was unfortunately pronounced dead on Saturday, July 9th.
Prince George’s County Police continue to investigate the fatal collision.
