DISTRICT HEIGHTS, MD – One person died after a single-vehicle accident in District Heights Tuesday morning.
According to ABC 7, the fatal crash occurred at the intersection of Aztec Drive and Elmhurst Street on July 26th.
The vehicle was reportedly traveling northbound on Aztec Drive and went straight through the three-way intersection, crashing into a resident’s yard. The car ran through a fence and then struck a tree head-on.
The driver of the car unfortunately died at the scene. Authorities have yet to identify the victim.
Prince George’s County Police continue to investigate the fatal accident.
