STAFFORD, VA – An 18-year-old driver was charged after a three-vehicle hit-and-run crash in Stafford early Tuesday morning.

According to ABC 7, the accident took place in the 500 block of Warrenton Road around 12:10 AM on July 26th.

A blue Honda Civic reportedly failed to yield as they were pulling out of a Hardee’s parking lot and struck a tractor-trailer. The impact of the crash caused the Honda to also strike a Toyota Highlander.

The driver of the Honda Civic immediately fled the scene and abandoned their vehicle at Nelms Circle.

Stafford County Police were able to track down the driver shortly after the crash. The 18-year-old driver was charged with felony hit-and-run and reckless driving.

It is unclear if anyone involved suffered injuries as a result of the crash.
