News: Truck crash blocks traffic in Northeast DC

WASHINGTON, DC – A multi-vehicle crash involving a truck caused significant traffic delays in Northeast DC Monday afternoon.

According to WTOP, the crash took place at the intersection of New York Avenue NE and Montana Avenue NE around 3:00 PM on August 15th.

The cause of the accident as well as the number of vehicles involved remains unknown. Similarly, it is unclear if anyone suffered injuries as a result of the crash.

All lanes of New York Avenue NE remain closed except the far left lane in the area of the crash.

Metro Police continue to investigate the crash.
