News: Bicyclist, 61, dies after getting hit by car in Glen Burnie

GLEN BURNIE, MD – A bicycle versus car crash in Glen Burnie claimed a 61-year-old man’s life Friday. 

According to FOX 5 News, the collision happened on Route 10 near East Furnace Branch Road. The bicyclist was struck by a 2016 Hyundai Sonata after making a left turn. 

Police identified the cyclist as Thomas Eric Siebert. 

Siebert succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. 

Injuries were not reported for the 29-year-old driver. She did, however, cooperate with officers and remained at the scene.
