News: Pedestrian seriously injured after getting hit by car in Fairfax County

FAIRFAX COUNTY, VA – A Tuesday morning pedestrian versus car crash in Fairfax County left a man with life-threatening injuries. 

The collision occurred on Richmond Highway, along Janna Lee Avenue, according to a tweet from Fairfax County Police. 

Officers are investigating a motor vehicle crash involving a pedestrian that occurred on Richmond Hwy at Janna Lee Ave. The pedestrian, an adult male, was taken to the hospital w life-threatening injuries. NB Richmond Hwy is closed. Please avoid the area #FCPD pic.twitter.com/y9cJ6oDwuv

At the time of reporting, the highway’s northbound lanes were closed.
