FORT WASHINGTON, MD – A 31-year-old man’s life was claimed in a crash on Thursday around 11:10 pm in Fort Washington. 

The collision occurred on Indian Head Highway, The BayNet said. A cyclist was traveling on the road when he was struck by a car. 

The cyclist was identified as Kaleab Yehenew from Oxon Hill. 

Yehenew was transported to a hospital and pronounced dead on Sunday. 

No injuries were reported for the driver. 

The details of Thursday’s crash are under investigation.
