WOODBINE, MD – A Wednesday night single-car crash in Woodbine claimed one man’s life and left another seriously injured.
The collision happened before 9:45 pm on Frederick Road, WBALTV 11 said. For reasons unknown, a driver of a Honda Accord lost control of his vehicle and struck a tree.
The driver was identified as 62-year-old Samuel Wayne Bowman Jr.
Bowan succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The unidentified passenger with Bowan was taken to a hospital in Baltimore, where his condition is unknown.
At the time of reporting, the area was closed but has reopened since.
