News: Emergency responders called to truck fire on US-50 in Bowie

PRINCE GEORGE COUNTY, MD – A truck fire was reported on the eastbound lanes of US-50 before MD-197 in Bowie Wednesday. 

Emergency responders were called to the scene around 4:15 pm, WTOP Traffic tweeted. 

Drivers can pass the accident by traveling in the left lane. Although, delays may still occur. 

It is unclear what caused the crash and if anyone was injured. Updates will be issued when they become available.
