SILVER SPRING, MD – A man died after getting struck by a vehicle in Silver Spring Thursday morning.
First responders were called to New Hampshire Avenue and Metzerott Road before 10:15 a.m., according to a tweet from PGPDNews.
FATAL PEDESTRIAN COLLISION: At approx 10:10 am officers responded to the intersection of New Hampshire Ave at Metzerott Rd for a collision involving a pedestrian. Once on scene, they discovered an unresponsive adult male in the roadway. The man was pronounced dead on scene. pic.twitter.com/Jl867QxzHj

The man gave in to his injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
It is unclear what led to the collision and if the driver will face any charges.
