PIKESVILLE, MD – A car and transit bus collided and fatally injured two passengers last week, according to The Washington Post.
The driver of a 2017 Nissan Altima was heading east on Old Court Road when the vehicle struck a Maryland Transit Administration bus. The wreck took place Thursday, Jan. 6th.
The Nissan’s driver, a 51-year-old man, died at the site of the accident. A female passenger of the Nissan was pronounced deceased at an area hospital.
Emergency responders transported the MTA bus driver to an area hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.
Additional information about the cause of the crash is unavailable at this time as the Baltimore County Police Crash Team investigates.
