ALEXANDRIA, VA – A 16-year-old boy was hospitalized for life-threatening injuries after getting hit by an SUV Saturday in Alexandria.
The collision occurred before 10:30 pm at Sanger Avenue and North Beauregard Street, NBC Washington said.
The teenager was riding a scooter. He tried to make a left turn and was struck by a Toyota RAV-4.
The driver of the Toyota remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators. It is unclear if the driver will face charges.
