FAIRFAX COUNTY, VA – A male pedestrian was fatally struck by a vehicle in Fairfax County over the weekend, WTOP News reports.
The unidentified male victim was walking near the Ox Road and Workhouse Road intersection when a vehicle hit him. Emergency personnel responded to the crash at around 7 p.m. and pronounced the man deceased at the scene.
The driver stayed at the scene and waited for authorities to arrive. It’s unclear whether any charges have been made.
Ox Road was completely shut down in the area of the crash site as investigators were looking into the cause of the crash.
