News: Child struck and injured by vehicle in Southeast DC

WASHINGTON, DC – An underage pedestrian suffered critical injuries after they were struck by a vehicle in Southeast DC Wednesday morning.

According to FOX 5, the collision occurred in the 1300 block of Pennsylvania Avenue SE around 7:47 AM on June 1st.

The cause of the accident is unclear at this time. The vehicle involved remained at the scene.

The child was taken to a local hospital and is reportedly in critical condition.

The crash remains under investigation.
