News: Collision on highway bridge causes slowdowns in DC

WASHINGTON, DC – At least one vehicle was in a crash that blocked a highway lane this evening, WTOP Traffic reports.

Authorities responded to a call regarding a vehicle accident at around 5:41 p.m. today. The wreck occurred in the northbound lanes of I-395, on the 14th Street Bridge. It’s unclear whether any injuries have been reported.

Officials shut down the left lane of the highway as local crews worked to clear the accident site. Information about the duration of the road closures has not been released.

We will be monitoring this story for any information about the circumstances of the wreck.
