WALDORF, MD – One person was hospitalized after their car flipped over in an accident this afternoon, according to The Bay Net.
A driver was traveling on Crain Highway when it crashed and overturned for unknown reasons.
Emergency responders received a call that there was a person beneath the car at about 1:07 p.m. The driver had been ejected but did not need to be extricated from underneath the vehicle.
EMS took the driver to an area medical center via ambulance. They received severe burns, but it is unclear if their injuries are life-threatening.
