ALEXANDRIA, VA – A man was arrested for DUI on Saturday after he drove into a stationary vehicle and caused the death of its driver, Inside Nova reports.
A Buick Verano was traveling westbound on I-495 when it crashed into a Honda CRV that was stopped in the shoulder. The Honda CRV then burst into flames.
Emergency personnel arrived at the scene near Exit 174. One woman inside the Honda was pronounced dead at the scene. She was a 20-year-old from Montgomery, Alabama.
The Buick’s driver sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was charged with driving under the influence.
