FORT WASHINGTON, MD – A man died over the weekend from injuries he sustained in a hit-and-run accident, NBC Washington reports.
The man was driving his truck northbound on Tucker Road when another vehicle struck him while attempting to pass. The impact caused the truck to swerve off of the road and crash into a tree.
Authorities arrived at the scene at around 1:30 p.m on December 25th, at the intersection of Tucker Road and Palmer Road.
The driver, a 56-year-old man, was pronounced dead on Saturday, Jan. 8th.
Police are still searching for the driver and are asking the public to come forward with any information about the accident.
