FAIRFAX CO., VA – Four people suffered injuries after a two-vehicle DUI collision Saturday morning.
According to WUSA 9, the crash took place at the intersection of Leesburg Pike and Colvin Run Road the morning of April 2nd.
A Hyundai Ioniq was attempting to turn left onto Leesburg Pike when they were struck by a vehicle that ran a red light.
The driver of the vehicle that ran the red light has since been charged with their second DUI.
Four people have been hospitalized. One person was initially reported to have life-threatening injuries, but their condition has since improved.
All lanes of Leesburg Pike were shut down for several hours. The roadway has since fully reopened.
The crash remains under investigation.
