WASHINGTON, D.C. – Police are investigating a fatal crash that blocked a roadway on Sunday morning, according to WTOP News.
Two vehicles were driving down Suitland Parkway at about 1:30 a.m. when they collided.
Medics were called to the scene between the road’s intersections with Naylor Road and Stanton Road. One juvenile was pronounced dead at the scene. Their identity is unknown at this time.
Six patients were treated for minor injuries. They are all in stable condition.
Suitland Parkway was completely closed in the area of the crash for more than five hours.
Officers with the U.S. Park Police are investigating the circumstances of the accident.
