SPOTSYLVANIA COUNTY, VA – Two passengers were killed and one was hurt after a collision involving four vehicles in Spotsylvania County on Wednesday morning, Fox 5 reports.

A commercial truck heading east on Plank Road struck a Ford Fusion Sedan at the intersection of Plank Road and Bragg Road. The force of the impact caused the two vehicles to collide with two Toyota trucks traveling west on Plank Road. The commercial truck then flipped over in the center of the road.

Two occupants of the Ford were transported to a nearby hospital. The Ford’s driver, a 75-year-old man, and his 76-year-old passenger succumbed to their injuries a short time later.

A passenger of a Toyota truck was hospitalized in stable condition. The people in both the commercial truck and the other Toyota truck did not sustain any injuries.
