ALEXANDRIA, VA – A crash involving several cars injured four passengers and led to the death of one last night, according to NBC Washington.
At least five vehicles were driving on Duke Street near Capital Beltway when they collided for unknown reasons. Authorities were dispatched to the crash site at approximately 11:50 p.m. Tuesday, in the 3200 block.
One patient was pronounced dead at the scene, while four others sustained injuries ranging from mild to life-threatening. The decedent’s identity has not yet been released.
Police believe that excessive speeds may have been involved in the cause of the accident.
