News: Large car accident blocks highway traffic

LUTHERVILLE, MD – Officials shut down several lanes of traffic on Monday after five vehicles were involved in a crash, CBS Baltimore reports.

Five cars were traveling in the southbound lanes of I-695 when the accident happened. Police arrived at the scene near Exit 25 towards Charles Street, shortly after 4:40 p.m. There have not been any injuries reported from the wreck.

The highway was shut down in two left lanes and the left shoulder for several hours as local crews worked to clear the site of the crash. The area has since been reopened.
