WOODBRIDGE, VA – A single-car crash left a 24-year-old man dead in Woodbridge Monday.
The collision occurred before 10 am at Horner Road and Millwood Drive, WRIC reported.
Police speculated that speeding was a contributing factor in Monday’s crash.
It appears the driver did not negotiate a curve in the road. As a result, he lost control of his 2021 Hyundai Sonata. The vehicle then drove over the centerline, traveled off course, and overturned.
Police identified the man as Denard Everett Bankston II.
Bankston succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
