News: Man, 28, dies from single-motorcycle crash in La Plata

CHARLES COUNTY, MD – A single-motorcycle crash claimed a 28-year-old man’s life Monday in La Plata, FOX 5 DC reported. 

The collision occurred around 4:15 am on Route 488. It is unclear what led the motorcycle to crash into a ditch and throw the man off the vehicle. 

The man, who was identified as Dallas Anthony Savoy, died from his injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. 

Police are investigating the details of Monday’s crash. 

At the time of reporting, the area was closed but has since reopened.
