PRINCE WILLIAM COUNTY, VA – A 63-year-old man was left dead after getting hit by a 2022 GMC Terrain in Manassas Wednesday.
The collision occurred on Balls Ford Road around 8 pm, according to a press release from Prince William County Police.

The pedestrian was wearing dark clothing when he was hit. The driver, a 39-year-old woman, remained at the scene and cooperated with police. She did not speed, was not impaired, and was not under the influence of alcohol.
The pedestrian was identified as Venkata Krishna Mohan Rao.
Rao succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
