ANNAPOLIS, MD – An 81-year-old man was left with life-threatening injuries after getting hit by a suspected drunk driver Sunday in Annapolis.
The collision happened on Buschs Frontage Road in Annapolis, WMAR 2 News reported.
The alleged drunk driver hit the 81-year-old man after he was coming out of a gas station. Police identified the driver as 27-year-old Wade Flaherty-Thompson.
Flaherty-Thompson was arrested for a DUI.
Anne Arundel County Police identified the 81-year-old man as Burton Wilson.
Wilson was transported to a hospital for life-threatening injuries and remained in critical condition.
