News: Man charged after car strikes, injures two

WOODBRIDGE, VA – Two pedestrians were hit by a car in the Horner Commuter Lot over the weekend, according to Inside Nova.

A man drove around a parking lot at excessive speeds and struck a car with three children inside, then two passengers who had stepped outside of the vehicle. One woman was involved in a domestic altercation with the driver prior to the crash.

The incident took place at 13455 Telegraph Road, at about 7:25 p.m. Saturday.

The woman was hospitalized for her injuries, along with a teenaged passenger. They are both reported to be in stable condition.

Local police have detained the driver and charged him.
