MANASSAS, VA – Police took a man into custody who allegedly struck multiple vehicles and hurt several people, according to Inside Nova.

The driver, a 26-year-old from Manassas, rear-ended another vehicle with his white van at about 7:10 a.m. Saturday. He then departed the scene and struck another vehicle on Sudley Road, causing a chain collision with another car.

The man turned onto Crestwood Drive, then turned onto Ashton Avenue while driving in the opposite lane. He finally struck two more cars, a Toyota Prius and a police unit, after running a red light at Sudley Manor Drive.

Two passengers inside of the Toyota were transported to hospitals for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. The van’s driver was taken into custody and charged after being released from a hospital.
