News: Man found dead near Silver Spring after being struck by vehicle

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, MD – Authorities are looking for the vehicle involved in an accident that fatally injured a pedestrian on Monday, according to the Daily Voice.

A pedestrian was walking near the intersection of I-495 and Route 29 yesterday when the vehicle struck him.

The Maryland State Police Department was called to the scene after 11:10 p.m. and found the victim’s body on the shoulder of the highway. He was a 32-year-old from D.C.

The vehicle fled the scene and is currently being searched for by the authorities. Information about the circumstances of the crash is unavailable as police continue to investigate.
