News: Man hospitalized after getting hit by train in Silver Spring

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, MD – A man was critically injured after he was struck by a train in Silver Spring before 11:30 pm Tuesday. 

The collision occurred at the Wheaton Station at the 11170 block of Georgia Ave. For reasons unknown, he walked off balance and fell on the tracks, Bethesda Beat reported. 

It is unclear at this time if the man was impaired or under the influence of drugs and alcohol.
