GAITHERSBURG, MD – Two lives were claimed in a pedestrian versus car crash at School Drive and Muddy Branch Road Tuesday.
The collision occurred before 7:30 a.m., NBC Washington revealed. It was a blue sedan that struck the pedestrians.
The driver remained at the scene. However, it is unclear if he or she will be facing charges.
The pedestrians’ names were not released. However, officials did say the victims were a 70-year-old woman and a 65-year-old man.
The man and woman were taken to a hospital, where they later died.
