News: Motor vehicle collision causes closures on Route

SPOTSYLVANIA COUNTY, VA – Authorities shut down several lanes of traffic after a car wreck this morning, ABC 8 News reports.

Several vehicles were involved in the crash on Route 3 near Bragg Road.

Details about any resulting injuries are currently unknown.

The highway was shut down in all eastbound lanes. The Virginia Department of Transportation advised motorists to steer clear of the crash site.

Authorities reopened two westbound lanes at approximately 1:30 p.m. today.

It’s unclear what exactly caused the wreck to take place. We will be following this story for more updates.
