ALEXANDRIA, VA – A motorcyclist died after they crashed into a cement wall and were ejected from their vehicle Sunday afternoon.
According to WSET, the fatal accident occurred on I-495 westbound at Eisenhower Road around 2:50 PM on June 26th.
The motorcyclist was reportedly traveling westbound on I-495 when they took the exit for Eisenhower Road. While on the exit ramp, they exited the roadway and crashed into a cement wall. The motorcyclist was ejected from the vehicle and fell 28 feet to the highway below.
First responders discovered the motorcyclist lying in a travel lane of I-495. They were taken to Inova Fairfax Hospital where they unfortunately succumbed to their injuries.
Officials identified the motorcyclist as 23-year-old Braydon Stone.
Fairfax County Police continue to investigate the fatal accident.
