LAUREL, MD – Investigators are looking into a crash that claimed the life of a Laurel man yesterday, WTOP News reports.
A man was traveling south on Laurel Bowie Road when his SUV swerved over the median and crashed into another vehicle head-on. The SUV’s driver, a 27-year-old from Laurel, was killed at the site of the accident.
The wreck took place at around 6 a.m. Wednesday, according to Prince George’s County police.
Officials shut down the road between its intersections with Old Laurel Bowie Road and Powder Mill Road for several hours.
The Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Unit is currently looking into the cause of the crash.
