HOWARD COUNTY, MD – Four people were injured on Tuesday after a large crash involving a tractor-trailer, according to the Daily Voice.
Seven vehicles, including one tractor-trailer, were driving westbound on I-70 when they collided for unknown reasons.
The accident took place at the highway’s intersection with Watersville Road, at around 1:43 p.m.
Maryland State Police reported that four patients were transported to medical centers via airlift. It’s unclear if they are in stable condition.
The wreck blocked the highway, causing major traffic slowdowns in Mount Airy. We will be following this story for any updates.
