News: Multi-vehicle crash blocks traffic on I-495 in Alexandria

ALEXANDRIA, VA – A multi-vehicle crash involving possible injuries caused significant traffic delays on I-495 Wednesday afternoon.

According to WTOP, the crash occurred on I-495 near U.S. 1 around 1:00 PM on August 3rd.

The exact circumstances of the crash remain unclear at this time.

Fairfax County Fire and EMS services responded to the scene. However, the number and severity of injuries suffered remain unknown.

Fairfax County Police continue to investigate the crash.
