MONTGOMERY CO., MD – No one suffered serious injuries after a moving car burst into flames in Silver Spring Sunday morning.

According to ABC 7, the accident took place on Colesville Road near East-West Highway around 9:00 AM on April 17th. 

Montgomery County Fire reports that the vehicle fire was caused by mechanical issues. The incident remains under investigation.

All occupants of the vehicle escaped with only minor injuries.
