News: Off-duty DC officer critically injured after getting struck by car in Mitchellville

PRINCE GEORGE COUNTY, MD – An off-duty police officer was left critically injured after he was hit by a car in Mitchellville Friday. 

The collision occurred at the 10500 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Highway, DC News Now reported. 

The officer was identified as Kenneth Daniels. 

It appears Metropolitan Police were able to find the hit-and-run driver who hit the officer. However, they have not revealed pending charges.
