YORK COUNTY, VA – A driver was killed after their car crashed and burst into flames this evening, WAVY 10 reports.
A Nissan Sentra was driving southbound on Ballard Street when it lost control and crashed into a nearby tree. The crash caused the vehicle to catch fire.
The accident happened at about 6:10 p.m. Emergency responders arrived at the scene between the road’s intersections with Cook Road and Historical Tour Road.
The victim’s identity has yet to be released. The Virginia State Police are currently handling the investigation.
